What do I need to do to get started?

Once you're approved for UFA and have selected OpenEd Academy in the marketplace, you'll complete our enrollment process where you'll upload necessary documents, share your educational goals, and work with our team to design your child's personalized learning plan.

Are there any additional fees or hidden costs?

No. OpenEd Academy's tuition is all-inclusive, covering your complete educational program, access to premium platforms, teacher support, and all the resources mentioned in our program details. There are no surprise fees or additional charges.

What happens to my remaining UFA funds after paying tuition?

Your remaining UFA funds stay in your UFA account to use on other approved educational expenses like tutoring, educational software, enrichment programs, educational supplies, or other services available in the UFA marketplace.

How much is tuition?

For the 2025-26 academic year:

Grades K-8: $2,900 per student per year
Grades 9-12: $3,500 per student per year
Early college students: $5,000 per student per year (includes dual enrollment with university partners)

What does tuition include?

Tuition covers one year of full-time enrollment with up to six 1.0 credit classes or twelve 0.5 credit classes. It includes access to clubs, activities, college counseling, course advisement, homeroom sessions, courses, and teachers. There are no surprise fees or hidden costs.
